Deniz Dagli is a warm and experienced Clinical Psychologist who has worked in a range of services including NGOs, schools, hospitals, community health, tertiary education, and private practice. Deniz has a rich history of 15 years of clinical experience with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship problems, grief and loss, experiences of trauma, eating disorders, life transitions, and navigating cultural identities. She works in a supportive, friendly, and caring manner to provide a collaborative and safe space. Deniz enjoys working with children, adults, and families of all genders and cultural backgrounds. She utilises evidence-based therapy and assessment in her sessions. She has training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy, and family and attachment-based therapies. Deniz is an EMDR trained Psychologist and provides support for people experiencing trauma.
Deniz has a special interest in providing:
• Earning Capacity assessments (for physical and psychological injuries and vocational assessments)
• Assisting clients with physical and psychological injuries with returning to work ( i.e. workers Compensation, CTP Claims)
• Psychometric assessments like ASD assessment (ADOS 2), ADHD, Cognitive assessments, IQ, etc.
Deniz is bi-lingual and speaks English and Turkish. She is a registered Clinical Psychologist with Medicare and SIRA.
